Schmidt GRAND BLANC/ GOODRICH — Despite clouds and a light rain, both Goodrich and Grand Blanc communities lined the roads and gathered for annual homecoming festivities, featuring of course the traditional parade which helps bring up the little ones in the rite of passage that seems to celebrate the beginning of the end of the year.

In shining examples of Grand Blanc’s tradition of inclusivity, they proudly elected Meredith Sanford as homecoming princess and Adam Raysin at homecoming prince. Both students are on the autism spectrum and also Homecoming queen was Reena Al-Sewari, a Muslim girl. King was Jordan Towns.
