Brew Fest this weekend

LAPEER — 2018 View Brew Fest!

A chance to try all those new beers and ciders you’ve been wondering about! The Brew Fest is Sept. 15 from 3–10 p.m. at Louie’s Sports Tavern, 3301 Davison Rd., Lapeer. This sixth annual craft beer festival returns with samples of more than 80 craft beers, a free pretzel necklace, live music and great food--all for a great cause, the Lapeer County Hockey Association! A fun club for all ages!

GRAND BLANC TWP. — The Grand Blanc Women’s Club will meet Sept. 19, at 12:30 p.m. at the Flint Elks Club, 7177 E. Maple Ave. Robyn Taylor will talk about her days in the military. The meetings are usually held on the third Wednesday of the month. Luncheon is $12, all are invited to attend even if you are not a member. Pastie sale

GOODRICH — The Goodrich United Methodist Church, 8070 S. State Road, will have a beef pastie sale Sept. 21. Order by calling the church by Sept. 20th at 810-636-2444. Pick up times are on Friday 1-4 p.m. and Saturday 10-Noon. Next pastie sale will be Nov. 9. — P.S.

Rep. Sneller Announces September Coffee Hours

GRAND BLANC — Residents are invited to share thoughts and concerns in an informal setting during in-district coffee hours. Rep.
