Local student shines in CMU production

GRAND BLANC — Zeke Neff of Grand Blanc will star in “The Great Kooshog Lake Hollis McCauley Fishing Derby” at Central Michigan University. The comedy is about investment banker James Bell who gets stuck in the town of Kooshog Lake during the annual fishing derby.

The production will take place at Bush Theatre in Mount Pleasant 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 22, Thursday, July 12 and Saturday, July 14. There will be a 2 p.m. production Sunday, June 24. Beaver Island Community Center Theatre will show a production at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 6.

Tickets are available at CMU Ticket Central. Neff is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music theatre at CMU. He is the son of John and Miranda Neff of Grand Blanc. — P.S.
