In an April 5 article, “Grand Blanc Public Works Committee: no one is happy about leaf collection” the article should have read that the city reinstated leaf collection in late fall of 2010, not the next year. — A.P.

Blood Drive today

GOODRICH — The American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at Goodrich United Methodist Church, 8071 S. State Rd., April 12 from Noon to 5:45 p.m. Appointments may be made by calling 1-800-733-2767 or going to redcrossblood.org with sponsor code Goodrich UMC. Individuals 17 years and older who are in good health may donate blood. Please have a donor card, driver’s license or MI ID with you when you come to donate. Drop in’s are also welcome. — P.S.

Speaker at Women’s Club luncheon

Homeowners forum to meet

GRAND BLANC TWP. — The Grand Blanc Area Homeowners Forum will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 18 at the David Stamm Community Room at the Grand Blanc Township Police Department, 5405 Saginaw Road. Wildlife expert Trapper Richard Smith will speak on removing wildlife from homes and property. He not only traps and removes as needed, but also provides tips and suggestions to make your home and yard resistant to pesky critters. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of most months and are open to the public. — P.S.
