GRAND BLANC – The Goodrich bowling teams both defeated Bentley 29-1 last Tuesday at Grand Blanc Lanes in a rescheduled meet.

The Goodrich boys swept both Baker games, taking a 10-point lead into the regular Peterson games. The Martians ultimately won both, winning the match 29-1.

The Lady Martians performed in similar fashion, sweeping both Baker games and regular Peterson games. Grace Fritzler was the high-scorer for Goodrich with 157 in Game Two and also won a solo match. Emma Butcher was the high roller in Game One with 143. Maggie Brownrigg, Aubrey Stockwell, Rebecka Allen and Butcher all won two games.

“We’re just pleased to finally get a win,” said Goodrich coach Shelley Zuwala. “The girls have worked real hard and our Baker games are finally starting to strengthen.”
