GRAND BLANC — The Grand Blanc View reported in a recent article that the Village of Goodrich had a $3 million fund balance. That should have been reported as a more than $300,000 fund balance. The View apologizes for the error. — P.S.

Christmas in the village tonight!

GOODRICH — The annual Christmas in the village celebration is coming Dec. 7 to Hegel Road in front of Cranberries Cafe from 5-9 p.m. This event features pictures with Santa (bring your camera) at Liberty Way Realty, a tree lighting ceremony, lots of nice treats to eat and gifts for family and friends. Food Drive

GOODRICH — The Goodrich Lions Club annual holiday food drive is underway, through Dec. 13. The Lions Club will collect non-perishable food items to be distributed to local families in need this holiday season. Donations sites are: Atlas Township offices, Goodrich United Methodist Church, Village of Goodrich Office, Victory Outreach Church. The Goodrich Lions appreciates your assistance in remembering those less fortunate this holiday season. — P.S.

Holiday Concert

GRAND BLANC TWP. & FENTON — New Century Chorale will perform their annual Yuletide concerts, first at 7 p.m., Dec. 9 at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 9020 Saginaw Road, and Dec. 10 at 4 PM at the United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy Street. This adult community choir of 50 members brings the arts to both the Grand Blanc and Fenton communities with Sarah Stockton, Artistic Director. Catnip Toys for the Humane Society
