GOODRICH
The Martians were unstoppable at Corunna on Tuesday, routing the Cavaliers, 8-0. Morgan Kosik had a career night with three goals and two assists, Madeline Reneaud added two goals and an assist, Brook Case had a goal and two helpers, Hannah Durant added a tally and two assists and Chloe Turnbow had a goal and an assist.
Goodrich hosts the Genesee Area Conference Tournament on Saturday. – B.P.

GRAND BLANC
The Lady Bobcats were at Brighton on Tuesday for a game that resulted in a 0-0 tie. Brighton clinched the Kensington Lakes Activities Association-West title at 7-0-3 while Grand Blanc finished at 6-0-4.
“We knew going in we needed a win and overall we played very well,” said Grand Blanc coach Greg Kehler. “We maintained possession throughout the contest and created some good scoring chances but Brighton maintained a defensive posture and their goalkeeper made some timely saves.”
Madison McKay registered her eighth shutout of the 2017 campaign.
The Bobcats host Waterford Mott today to begin the KLAA Tournament. – B.P.
